Iran-Turkey joint film to hit Iran theaters after Eid al-Fitr

The new Iranian-Turkish film 'Intoxicated by Love' is set to be released in Iranian cinemas after the Eid al-Fitr holidays.

The biopic, directed by Hasan Fathi and produced by Mehran Broumand, tells the story of the internationally renowned Persian poet Rumi and his mentor Shams Tabrizi.

Fathi's cinematic offering stars Parsa Pirouzfar as Rumi and Shahab Hosseini as Shams Tabrizi.

The cast also includes Turkish actors.

Eid al-Fitr is a significant Islamic festival that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

'Intoxicated by Love' will be released in Iranian cinemas on April 17, following the Eid al-Fitr holidays.

The film is one of the most anticipated Iranian films of 2024 and is expected to be a hit at the Iranian box office.
